Grenaa Gymnasium is a Danish upper-secondary school offering STX, HF and International Baccalaureate Diploma. Classes and materials are taught in English, and there is a Boarding School on campus for students who live away from home. The school invites international mindedness through its association with IB since 2003, and it joined the Global Gymnasiums network in 2010, including the STX Global Line with Shanghai No. 8 Senior High School. The curriculum centres on STX, HF and IB Diploma, with ten study lines in STX focusing on music, languages, sciences or social studies. The on-site library supports study with access to Bibliotek.dk, Ebook Central and JSTOR, and there are science laboratories and partnerships such as the Academy for Talent Youth with Aarhus University. Distinctive programs include music and visual arts activities, Model United Nations and global days. Facilities include social spaces, a cinema, a canteen, and dedicated staff for boarding students.
