Odense International School has a quirky and inspiring physical environment with sculptures on the way to classes and a grand piano used at morning assembly. All lessons are taught in English. The school is a Cambridge International Examinations Centre. All classrooms are equipped with CleverTouch smart boards. Coding and robotics are integrated into the curriculum, with a KUBO test centre and LEGO robotics WeDo and Mindstorms, and micro:bits. The After-School Care Programme runs from 13:05–16:15 for P1–P4, and The Club serves 4th grade from Henriette Hørlücks School and P5.

Science labs in chemistry, physics, and biology were newly renovated in February 2020 with state-of-the-art equipment. Slotsgade is home to a design & technology makerspace, offering interactive work spaces. A 3D printer and a laser cutter are available. Design & technology is studied from P4–S9, and art & design is an elective in S10 and S11. We Like to Travel is part of the academic programme, and trips are made to Bornholm, Norway, the UK, France, and Germany. Woodwind instrument lessons are offered through the After-Care School Programme, with two years of instruction at no cost for P2. Twice a year they perform a musical concert for families. The After-School Care Programme runs 13:05–16:15 for P1–P4, and The Club is for 4th grade from Henriette Hørlücks School and P5. There is a youth centre at Østre Plads run by Odense Municipality with diverse activities and open until 21:00 on weekdays.
Odense International School is the international department of Henriette Hørlücks Skole in Denmark, delivering Cambridge curriculum for primary through secondary, including IGCSE, and taught in English. The school welcomes students aged 4 to 16 from more than 40 nations. Primary follows the Cambridge International Curriculum with cross-curricular projects, Danish instruction, and Danish language support; French begins in Upper Primary (Grade 6). Upper Secondary leads to IGCSE in Secondary 10 and 11, with Cambridge ICE awarded for seven passed subjects when criteria are met. The campus features a design and technology makerspace, 3D printing, laser cutting, and science labs renovated in 2020; CleverTouch smart boards in all classrooms; KUBO, LEGO WeDo, LEGO MINDSTORMS and micro:bits support coding and robotics. Enrolment includes field trips, clubs such as Model United Nations from Secondary 8, and After-School program. Students may continue to the IB Diploma, Danish high school, or Danish vocational pathways after IGCSE.
