The campus is surrounded by green areas and has access to various sports facilities. The school is bi-lingual in Danish and English. There are personal storage spaces in classrooms up to 5th grade, and lockable student lockers from Stage 7. There is no on-site cafeteria; children bring packed lunches, and the school kitchen sells drinks and snacks.

The International Department has been a registered Cambridge International School since 2001. In junior classes Stages 1–6 we follow Cambridge curriculum in all subjects; in Stages 7–9 we follow Cambridge curriculum in English, Mathematics and Science. In Stages 10 and 11 we offer 9 IGCSE subjects, with Cambridge International Examinations marking externally. Cambridge Progression Tests and internal exams are used to monitor progress and there are formal parent reports twice a year.
The Activities round the year include the KS1 International Foods Dinner, Careers Day and Culture Day/Open House with arts and music education. Skipper Løbet is a major school sports event. International Children's Day features activities for Stages 1–9. Project week and the Annual School Party (Skolefest) provide cross-stage activities, and World Book Day is celebrated with author visits and related activities.
