Curriculum follows international and national standards. The core standards include the Common Core State Standards for mathematics and English Language Arts, the Next Generation Science Standards for science, the AERO Standards for social studies, and the Ministry of Education standards for Spanish Language Arts and Sociales. The program emphasizes project-based learning and Maker-centered learning to build problem-solving, collaboration, and technology skills. In the secondary program, Advanced Placement courses are offered, PSAT/SAT preparation is provided, and students participate in Model United Nations and college-preparation activities.
Music, Drama, and Art are offered as specials and electives. The program develops musical literacy, performance, and visual arts skills, with additional opportunities in performing arts offered through extracurricular fine arts such as Latin dance, ballet, and musical theater. Makerspace extends creative and technical exploration with design thinking and STEM projects for K-5.
32+ nationalities are represented in the CCHS community, celebrated through weekly flag ceremonies. The curriculum includes Spanish Language Arts and Sociales, alongside English Language Arts and other international standards, supporting bilingual learning. Students have access to Model United Nations and other global-minded activities, and the school is affiliated with ACCAS, Tri-Association, ASCD, College Board, and NHS.
An after-school Extracurricular Program runs 3:15–4:15 PM for ages 5–18, with two activities per semester included in tuition for the first activity and an additional cost for the second. Participants can choose from athletics (soccer, basketball, swimming, etc.), fine arts (Latin dance, ballet, musical theater, music), life skills (cooking, chess, atelier), and high-interest hobbies (YouTube Master, ping-pong, martial arts).
Service learning and community engagement are integral; graduates are prepared to participate in their communities through service learning, leadership opportunities, and community involvement.
Advanced Placement courses are available in multiple subjects, with PSAT/SAT preparation provided. The school is a member of the College Board and NHS. Leadership and global citizenship opportunities include Model United Nations and a student government, alongside a focus on developing 21st-century skills.
Extended Day supports younger students from ages 1–4, offering activities from 1:00–3:00 PM, including Ballet, Arts and Crafts, Swimming, Sensorial Stimulation, Psychomotricity, Mini-Chef, and Soccer. Physical Education emphasizes lifelong fitness and well-being, and some programs incorporate psychomotricity and other movement-based activities. Primary learning also highlights social-emotional wellness and character education as foundational elements.
Cap Cana Heritage School (CCHS) in Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was founded in 2007 as part of Educación Integral network. It is a private international school offering a U.S.-type curriculum for preschool through high school. Cognia accredits the school and affiliations include ACCAS, Tri-Association, ASCD, and College Board. Early Childhood follows Reggio Emilia, with Movement, Art, Performing Arts, Authentic Explorations, and Library, focusing on social-emotional development and strong family partnerships. Primary grades follow Common Core math and ELA, NGSS science, AERO social studies, and Dominican standards for Spanish Language Arts and Sociales, with Maker-centered and Project-Based Learning.
