Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Get in touch. The school invites families to arrange a campus tour and to contact the Admissions Team by email or by calling +1 809 562 5262. A video call can be arranged if visiting Santo Domingo is not possible. The admissions process includes an interview and an age-appropriate assessment for the child. 2. Send us your application. The school sends a selection of application documents to complete. An online folder is provided with a link to upload these documents. The school reviews the submitted materials to determine the next steps. 3. Interview and assessment. The school invites the child to an interview and admissions exam after documents are reviewed. The interview assesses fit and the age-appropriate entrance exam evaluates readiness. The process helps ensure a good match between student and Saint George School. 4. Feedback meeting. Shortly after the interview and exam, the school schedules a feedback meeting with the family. The meeting provides feedback on performance and outlines any next steps. Questions are answered and remaining requirements are clarified. 5. Offer and acceptance. If everyone is satisfied with the interview and assessment, the school formally offers a place via email. The acceptance email contains the final steps to complete enrollment. The school communicates deadlines and next actions to secure the place.
Saint George's has an internal scholarship program that rewards outstanding academic performance. At the end of each school year, the student with the highest GPA from 7th to 11th grade receives the scholarship. The program recognizes achievement within the Saint George School community.
Saint George School is a multicultural international campus in Santo Domingo that delivers a UK-inspired foundation with Dominican curriculum integration. The school serves students from ages two to eighteen and teaches primarily in English and Spanish, with targeted language support to ensure confidence in both languages. From Infant through Upper School, it offers Cambridge IGCSEs for ages fourteen to sixteen followed by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for ages sixteen to eighteen, making it the Dominican Republic's sole school to run both pathways. The academic program is validated by the Dominican Ministry of Education and NEASC, and Saint George is a member of the Council of International Schools. The Piantini campus spans about ten thousand square meters and features an Innovation Centre with a STEAM Maker Space, a robotics classroom, music and arts facilities, and a well-stocked library. An extracurricular program and international trips foster leadership, service, and global citizenship.
