1. Step 1: Admissions Requirements. Saint Joseph School invites families to visit during Open House dates or schedule a private orientation to learn about the programs. Families may start the application process as early as September of the previous school year. They must fill out the application forms and gather the listed documents to be considered for admissions. The documents include: Pre-Registration Form; one 2x2 student photo; Family Interview Form; Recommendation Form; copies of the most recent report card and the previous school year; copies of the ID cards or guardians' IDs (passport if foreigner); copy of the student's birth certificate; the US$30 application fee for the admissions evaluation; and for new families from abroad, a certificate of good conduct or letter of employment. Saint Joseph School is an international institution in the Dominican Republic offering a U.S.-type college preparatory education in English, with Spanish language instruction and a Dominican social studies program to meet local requirements. Accredited by the Dominican Republic Ministry of Education since 1999 and by Cognia (AdvancED), the school serves students from ages 1 through 18 and is organized into Early Education, Elementary, and High School divisions. The curriculum blends American standards with Advanced Placement courses and the IB Diploma Programme. ESL and SSL support, Differentiated Instruction, AP, and Math Interventions support diverse learners. Classes run with modest sizes—14 in Early Education to 25 in upper grades. The campus features a Technology Lab in each division, dedicated Art and Music spaces, plus a motor-skills gym, a Space Maker and a Science Lab.
