The Dual Program in the Cultural Experience Program combines Ecuadorian high school credentials with a U.S. High School Diploma and is taught in English. Cambridge Certification certifies English proficiency with intensive preparation for the B2 First Certificate in English, including official practice and administering the final exam within the school, with international validity. The English Area coordinates language instruction, planning, supervising, and continually improving the teaching of the language at all levels.

The American School of Guayaquil is a private, nonprofit bilingual international school with ties to the United States, promoting cultural relations between Ecuador and the United States. The school teaches in English and Spanish and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for students aged 16–19. The DP spans six subject groups and three components: Extended Essay (Monografía), Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS). Students choose six subjects from six groups as a full Diploma, with three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level, and complete assessments recognized for direct university entry, credit, and scholarships. Since 1985, school has delivered IB Diploma Programme. Primary Years Programme serves 3–12 with a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based framework and bilingual immersion, culminating in PYP Exhibition.
