The school uses two uniforms: a daily uniform and a sports uniform. A new uniform design featuring a 3D CAH logo was introduced for the 2024-2025 academic year. Uniforms are sold through authorized providers MaferUniformes and Skole, with care instructions and sizing guidance available.
The school cafeteria is operated by The Academy Shop. It is a Smart Bar with digital payments via the PayMon mobile app and a self-service kiosk. Pre-orders for snacks and lunches are available through the app, and a downloadable Menu Escolar is provided for reference.
The school is sponsored by the CAHGYE Association (Asociación Colegio Alemán Humboldt de Guayaquil) and is governed by three bodies: the Executive Council, the General Rectorate, and the Administrative and Financial Directorate, operating within the Auslandsschulqualitätsmanagement (AQM) framework.
Colegio Alemán Humboldt de Guayaquil is a German international school offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma alongside a German curriculum and a bespoke program. The school is part of Germany's network of 135 excellence schools abroad, recognized by the German government, and it emphasizes multilingualism and intercultural study. German is taught through immersion across many subjects, with five weekly German classes in secondary and two additional German-taught subjects from 8th grade to support IB requirements; students pursue the Deutsches Sprachdiplom I through an international benchmarking process in 8th grade. English begins in grade five with immersion, with aims for high language proficiency. Facilities include specialized science laboratories, a robotics lab, a Lernwerkstatt and a learning environment supported by itsLearning and Office 365. The IB program features Mini-CAS, a bilingual library, internships in Germany, and university visits, complemented by exchanges, events like Noche IB and Intercambiales, and a group 4 project week.
