The school is governed by the Fundación Alemán Humboldt Samborondón. The Board of Directors (FAHS) serves on an honorary basis for two-year terms and governs the school together with the General Manager. The President is Ricardo Roggiero; Vice-President Gabriela Andreetti; Treasurer Johann Zeller; Secretary Pablo Hahn; and the General Manager is Josefina Orellana.
Colégio Alemán Humboldt Samborondón offers a bilingual, bicultural education for ages 1 to 18. The school runs a modern, trilingual program in Spanish, German and English (from the fifth EGB grade), aligned with the German system and supported by materials imported from Germany. In addition to its bespoke curriculum, the school offers the International Baccalaure Diploma Programme, encouraging students to reflect, act and develop a global perspective. Classrooms are equipped with networked technology, and facilities include a science building, music and art rooms, a computing laboratory, physics–chemistry labs, a library, and extensive green spaces that support well-being alongside learning. Intercultural exchanges with partner schools in Germany and language trips bolster language proficiency with official A1 to C1 certifications available. The campus in Samborondón continues a history dating from the 1950s and migrated to Ciudad Celeste in 2015, reflecting a commitment to intercultural understanding and high-quality education in Ecuador for families.
