Discounts and calculations

- Calculation note: the published Total Annual Tuition amounts correspond to the Monthly Tuition multiplied across ten installments plus the matriculation fee and the insurance fee (the published totals match that calculation).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- When an offer of admission is accepted two initial payments must be submitted by credit card or bank transfer: (1) the deposit (non‑refundable) and (2) the registration payment; the deposit is applied toward the first tuition payment. Monthly tuition, transportation and insurance charges must be paid in August by the school's established deadlines for a student to start the academic year.
- The school publishes deferred payment options for tuition; deferred payments may carry interest (tuition values are presented with the possibility of deferred payment arrangements).
Boarding / Accommodation
- Boarding is not applicable: no boarding or residential fees are published for the Colegio Americano de Quito; the school operates as a day school with scheduled student life and extracurricular programming.
Other costs and fees
- Insurance: an annual insurance fee is applied per student (amounts shown per year group above).
- Uniforms / spirit store: the school's branded uniform and spirit items are sold through the school's Spirit Store (Americano Spirit Store / Skole).
- Additional charges: the published fee schedule shows transport, matriculation, tuition and insurance; parents should expect possible additional optional or activity‑specific charges (for example extracurriculars, trips or course materials) although those specific itemized optional charges are not listed in the primary published tuition schedule.
Refunds
- Deposit: the deposit required to secure an offered place is explicitly stated as non‑refundable and will be applied to the first tuition payment when the family accepts the space. No other routine refund policy details are published in the fee summary.
Payment methods accepted
- Initial payments (deposit and registration payment): credit card or bank transfer. Monthly tuition, transportation and insurance payments are scheduled for payment in August; the school publishes deferred payment arrangements (which may include interest) as part of its payment options.
If you require these figures displayed in a different numeric format or incorporated into a database field list, use the exact amounts above (USD) as published.
