The school is governed by the La Condamine Foundation, a private non-profit Ecuadorian association created on August 4, 1992, under an agreement between the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ecuador and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France to manage the Liceo Franco-Ecuatoriano La Condamine. The President of the Foundation is Marie-Gabrielle Jara (Cavé), who serves as President of the General Assembly and as President of the Board, and is the legal representative of the Lycée La Condamine; the Vice-President is Antinea Garcés; the Treasurer is Arnaud Michel; and the Controller of Management is Jacques Landázuri Wiets. The General Assembly meets at least once a year to examine the financial budget (typically in May). The Foundation's statutes were adopted on March 25, 2021.
La Condamine Franco-Ecuadorian High School is a binational institution offering both French and Ecuadorian curricula, guiding students toward two baccalaureates. Founded in 1967, the school serves ages 2 to 18 across primary, middle (collège) and high school. It is a member of the AEFE network, ensuring alignment with the French education system while also offering an Ecuadorian pathway. The campus hosts an American International Section, recognized by the College Board and registered as a Cambridge Test Preparation Center. Courses in the International Section are taught by native and bilingual teachers at level C1 or higher, with the Itinerario Americano and the American Pathway in Secondary. The school plans a modern campus expansion and provides a 360º virtual tour. Extracurriculars include sport through the Association Sportive and diverse clubs in Culture and Language, Social and Hobbies, and Lifestyle and Wellbeing. Athletes compete in football, volleyball, climbing, basketball, and more in school.
