British Ramses School opened in 2013 and follows the Cambridge Primary and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curricula. It is an affiliate of the Evangelical Synod of the Nile — the Higher Council of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Egypt.
British Ramses School provides a safe learning environment in which every individual is cared for morally, intellectually, physically and emotionally. Partnerships between teachers, parents, and administration give every student the attention they need to develop. The curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England.
British Ramses School Katamya offers a British curriculum for students aged 4 to 18, delivering Cambridge Primary and Cambridge IGCSE programmes. The school is Cambridge International Examinations certified and licensed by the Ministry of Education, with Edexcel certification to offer Edexcel International Academic Qualifications. Opened in 2013, it is affiliated with the Evangelical Synod of the Nile (Higher Council of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Egypt). The campus features laboratories, libraries, PE spaces, a playground and sports facilities to support a comprehensive study program. The curriculum supports language learning with supervision in French and German, and art education is led by an Art Supervisor. The school emphasises analytical and creative thinking, and promotes student activism and positive contributions to the school, community, country and world. A safety-minded environment is paired with close partnerships among teachers, parents and administration to ensure individual attention. Leadership and well-being are supported by dedicated staff including a Student Affairs Manager and Well Being Supervisor.
