Cairo English School (CES) is an international school in Mirage City, New Cairo, Egypt, offering a British-based international education for students aged 3 to 18. Bus transportation is provided daily. Students must wear seat belts, remain seated while the bus is moving, be courteous to peers and the driver, and be at the assigned pick-up locations on time. Regular buses operate each school day; late buses are available at 4:30 pm on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays for after-school activities or tutoring.
Annual tuition at Cairo English School ranges from EGP 125,000 to EGP 191,000 for 2026/27.

Primary ESL programmes include Parallel Literacy 1, Parallel Literacy 2, ESL Support, English, and In Class ESL Support. Secondary ESL Services offer limited but individually tailored additional English support for students whose English is below the level of peers; at KS3 this can involve three ESL lessons per week, with potential adjustment by timetable needs, and at KS4 ESL support may replace an IGCSE elective in urgent cases.
At the Cairo English School, health and safety are priorities, with a full‑time pediatrician to support students' health needs. The School Doctor is available to conference with parents, teachers and students throughout each day. The Pastoral Support Coordinators provide holistic welfare and growth, focusing on social, moral and emotional excellence and fostering values such as mutual respect, resilience and compassion. The mission emphasizes mental health and social and emotional support for students who may benefit. The school employs two full‑time counselors who provide confidential and supportive counselling to students, families and staff, with individual or group sessions and availability for staff to drop in or contact the counselor.
Pastoral Support coordinates the welfare and mental health of students, with a focus on social, moral and emotional development. Counselors provide confidential support for students, families and staff, available as individual or group sessions and accessible to staff who may request meetings. The learning zone structures, including pastoral and counseling, are designed to support safeguarding and well‑being, with a non‑judgemental, respectful environment and clear access through the front desk for concerns.

Step 2: Interview and Assessment. Admission staff will arrange a time for the interview and the child's assessment. The required documents and the application form should be ready for the appointment. Assessments vary by grade: social interaction and group play are used for FS1 to Year 2, and CAT4 testing (English, Math and IQ) is used for Year 4 to Year 11. All academic reports must be presented in English or officially translated.
Step 3: Acceptance and Payment. Acceptance is finalised with payment of applicable fees. Admissions will contact families to initiate this step.
