ÄDK is one of CMIS's educational partners. ÄDK is the first institute to be accredited from the Goethe Institute in the Middle East and North Africa region and is the first accredited ÖSD examination center in Egypt. CMIS also offers Quran & Islamic Studies courses. These courses provide a multidisciplinary perspective on issues involving the societies, cultures, and history of the Islamic world.
CMIS includes Beyond the Classroom activities such as Art, Music Club, Drama Club, Ballet, Fashion, and Events, providing opportunities for students to engage creatively outside the regular curriculum. Character Building includes charitable activities, such as charity work during Ramadan (packaging rice, sugar, and other items for the needy). Students participate in visiting nursing homes and orphanages. Quran recital competitions are part of the program.
Outdoor learning and tending to our school garden is a big part of the day. The Character Building program includes on-site mosques and daily prayers, supporting community values. These practices contribute to daily life and wellbeing as part of the school's holistic approach.
CMIS is a girls' day school in Cairo, Egypt, offering an American curriculum with Advanced Placement. The core program follows Common Core standards and aligns with the vision, enabling teachers to tailor texts and activities to foster creativity and higher‑order thinking. From Pre-K through Grade 12, students study language arts, mathematics, science aligned to Next Generation Science Standards, social studies, French and German, physical education, art, music, computer studies, and Qur'an. In grades 11–12, CMIS offers AP courses and electives such as Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Environmental Science, Advanced Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Management and Statistics. SAT I and II, and national subjects, also form part of assessment goals. The campus comprises a building with two labs, three libraries, a clinic, art and music rooms, and an auditorium, plus a semi‑Olympic pool, basketball and tennis courts, and a gym.
