The Lycée International Français d'Egypte – Concordia (LIFE) is a French international high school homologated by the French Ministry of National Education and part of the AEFE network. In the 2022 school year, the school welcomed students; the past two years have been challenging but allowed rapid adaptation, a value the lycée now cultivates. Academically, the lycée continues implementing the lycée reform, competency-based assessment, mastery of French, multilingualism and individualized student follow-up, with exam results and post-bac trajectories worldwide as success criteria. LIFE, the Concordia lycée, is a French international school for Egyptian students and will strengthen this French mission while taking into account the specificities of teaching Egyptians. The principal is Jamil Maleyran.
The CDI (Centre de Documentation et d'Information) is the hub for research, reading and cultural projects for students, teachers and staff. The CDI houses about 5,000 books across documentaries, fiction and reference works, with on-site access and some lending, and it runs a sustainable development project with eco-delegates since 2019, publishing Concordia News regularly. It fosters connections with a French lycée, a French NGO, l'IFE and local charitable and ecological associations, and it hosts external speakers as part of career and cultural programs. Extracurricular activities include choir performances for CM1–CM2 as part of everyday school life.
Concordia Lycée International Français en Égypte is a French international lycée in Cairo, homologated by the French Ministry of National Education and part of the AEFE network.
