The school is sponsored by the German-speaking Evangelical Community in Cairo. The School Committee represents the sponsor's interests on behalf of the Community. The Community is present at the school in areas such as a weekly church service, biblical storytelling in the kindergarten, shared reflective celebrations, and religious education with Christian–Muslim cooperation; pastoral care is provided by the school's pastor. The Community also collaborates with the Social Committee on outreach projects, including a girls' home in Agouza and STARS refugee-school initiatives.
