The Deutsche Schule Hurghada is a German international school (Begegnungsschule) offering German-language instruction with Arabic curriculum for students aged 2 to 18. The school provides Kindergarten (2–4), Preschool (5–6), Primary (1–4) and Secondary (5–10), culminating in the GIB Diploma in grade 12. The Thuringian curriculum underpins learning, enriched by Arabic elements and higher-level differentiation. Final degrees include the German language diploma (DSD I), Mittlere Reife in grade 10, and the mixed-language IB diploma (GIB) in grade 12. The Egyptian department focuses on Egypt and the Arab world, with Arabic taught as a foreign language in the German section. Founded in 2006, it became a PASCH school in 2008 and received the Auslandsschule designation in 2014.
