Academic and Intellectual

Gateway students participate in internal competitions such as a Spelling Bee Contest, which highlights language skills and perseverance. Gateway International Montessori School is located in Katameya Gardens Compound, New Cairo, Egypt. It offers a blended curriculum that combines Montessori methods in the early years with the American curriculum and International Baccalaureate programs. The school is an IB World School offering MYP and DP, with graduates able to earn an American High School Diploma. English is the language of instruction, and languages include Mandarin, Spanish, and German. The campus supports learning with outdoor work environments attached to classrooms, a commercial kitchen, libraries, a gym, gardens and playgrounds, an indoor pool, tennis courts, a theater, art and music rooms, rooftop gardens, a labyrinth, and science laboratories.
