Enrollment ages start at 2.8 years by October 1. Parents do not need to be francophone. New enrollment applications begin on November 1; transfer admissions begin in mid-January. Teacher qualifications are described on the GPIS Staff page. The school has an outsourced canteen (Cilantro) providing meals; students may also bring breakfast and lunch from home. A full-time pediatrician handles health checkups; in emergencies, a representative accompanies students to a hospital. A campus virtual tour is available, and physical tours can be arranged by contacting the school. Parent communication is via email; educational communication uses Manage Bac (submitting assignments, class notifications and announcements). Requests for Early Years and PYP are made through the Request form; feedback and complaints are submitted through the Feedback & Complaint Form; appreciation notes are submitted through the Thank You Form. The school accepts differently abled students; an Inclusion Policy applies.
GPIS Excellence Scholarship is GPIS's program to recognize outstanding students with potential to excel. All applicants for GPIS scholarships must pass the admission exams (English, Math, and Arabic; Physics or Biology and Chemistry for MYP5 students). The grant is renewed yearly as long as eligibility criteria are met and a positive behavioral record is maintained. Required documents include Birth Certificate, six recent photos, and a photocopy of the student's assessment report for the last two years (foreign language grades must be included). Scholarships may cover 25% to 100% of tuition, excluding transportation and book fees. Eligibility criteria include enrollment in an international/private school with English as the language of instruction and English proficiency; open nationality; positive discipline; demonstrated exceptional learning abilities; and possible consideration of talents in arts, music, sports and leadership. Applicants are evaluated using a weighted scoring system based on academic performance and talent/extracurricular achievements. Rules include one attempt per academic year; misconduct leads to disqualification; no appeals after the final decision; attendance of all assessments and interviews is mandatory; continuation depends on minimum academic scoring, good discipline, and active contribution to school projects and values. All documents and payments must be submitted by the due date. A Scholarship Application link is provided on the site.
