Lycée Albert Camus is a French international day school in Cairo within the LVNG Schools Complex in New Giza. It is AEFE-accredited and educates students from nursery through terminale, following the French national curriculum while respecting Egyptian directives. Arabic is taught from kindergarten and English begins in CP, delivering a trilingual, multicultural learning environment. The school delivers maternelle and elementary timetables of 24 hours per week, with Cycle 2 (CP-CE1-CE2) and Cycle 3 (CM1-CM2-6e) structures, 26 hours weekly for the Collège, and a lycée comprising Seconde générale, Première and Terminale. In Première students select three specialties; in Terminale, two. The baccalauréat certifies end-of-secondary knowledge and enables access to higher education. The campus offers a range of after-school activities and academic support. Inaugurated in 2018, the school is part of the AEFE network, reflects a commitment to academic formation and holistic development in an international, multilingual setting for students worldwide everywhere.

Ramadan schedule: end of the day for kindergarten is 12:40, primary 12:50, and secondary 13:00; the first hour of class begins on the usual schedule. Student buses depart at 13:15; staff buses depart at 13:30; bus arrivals follow the usual schedule.

The school is an AEFE-accredited institution educating students from nursery through terminale. It is homologated by AEFE and follows the French national education programs, while respecting Egyptian Ministry of Education directives. Arabic language is taught from nursery and English begins in CP, within a trilingual and multicultural educational approach. The early years and elementary are organized with 24 hours per week in the maternelle and 24 hours per week in the elementary; Cycle 2 (CP-CE1-CE2) and Cycle 3 (CM1-CM2-6e) structure the elementary curriculum, while the Collège runs 26 hours per week. The lycée comprises Seconde générale, Première and Terminale; students choose three specialties in Première and two in Terminale; the baccalauréat certifies end-of-secondary knowledge and enables higher education; an information flyer in English is available.
Primary students participate in Moral and Civic Education (EMC) sessions. During the anti-bullying project week, all pupils from kindergarten to CM2 worked on bullying during EMC. On November 27, the students celebrated the end of this project, which promoted respect and kindness. A sports day focusing on vocabulary through physical education promoted cooperation and teamwork.
Non-French-speaking children can enroll thanks to the French Passerelle program designed to welcome non-French-speaking children and give them the chance to join Lyce9e Albert Camus. The English program includes LLCE (language, literature and culture) with activities such as studying Edward Hopper and a virtual visit to the British Parliament.
Registration for new students is open. The school welcomes boys and girls of all nationalities. Registration is subject to availability of places, an interview with the family, and, for the child, success in an entrance test. Registration for non-French-speaking children is possible through the French Passerelle program, designed to welcome non-French-speaking children and give them the chance to join Lycée Albert Camus. The school also considers applications from students who do not speak French; a personalized welcome program can be implemented to help them integrate and quickly acquire the necessary language basics. All official communications to families are translated into Arabic. The lycée regularly offers open days for families considering enrollment; during these sessions (about two hours), visitors can tour the facilities and meet members of the leadership who can answer questions about how the Lycée operates. Visiting the establishment before submitting an application is not allowed. A brochure is available and online enrollment can be accessed via the Inscription En Ligne portal.
