Languages referenced in these programs include English, Spanish, and Arabic. The BFI tracks are bilingual French/English with additional language options of Spanish or Arabic. The SELO tracks focus on English (European British section) and Arabic (Arabic language oriental section); Latin and Greek are offered as optional language courses.
BFI British bilingual tracks are offered in three formats: French/English; French/English/Spanish; and French/English/Arabic. Since 2023, terminal-cycle students may pursue the BFI option, preparing over two years to obtain the BFI designation on their baccalaureate. SELO – Sections européenne and orientale – provide European (British) and Oriental (Arabic) language tracks.
SELO sections are language-focused tracks that develop living language skills and knowledge of foreign cultures. Schooling in SELO allows candidates to sit for a specific evaluation to obtain 'section européenne' or 'section de langue orientale', with the language indicated on the baccalaureate diploma. The two SELO tracks are the European British section and the Arabic oriental section.
