English is taught from the first year of primary school (CP). From the fifth grade, students may choose between German and Spanish. In elementary, a foreign language is taught and may include an introduction to linguistic diversity. Lycée Français International Simone de Beauvoir is a French international school in Egypt serving ages 2 to 18. It operates under Mission Laïque Française (MLF) and AEFE, delivering the French national education program from preschool through lycée, with the option to sit the French baccalaureate and the Egyptian baccalaureate.
