Merryland International School Cairo is a British-affiliated international school delivering the Cambridge International Curriculum for core subjects and the English National Curriculum for non-core subjects, with Arabic, Islamic Education and Arabic Social Studies following the Ministry of Education curriculum. The school serves learners aged 3 to 16, organized in Cambridge phases: Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2, Key Stage 3, and Key Stage 4, with Year 6 and Year 8 Checkpoints and Year 9 IGCSE, followed by IGCSE/AS/A‑Levels from Year 10. Founded in 1970 by Ayad Ragheb Ayad, the school has over 50 years of experience and operates from new premises. Facilities include air-conditioned KG classrooms, science labs, computer labs, a maths lab, a library, an AV room and dining spaces. The sports program features multi-purpose playgrounds, indoor and outdoor facilities and a swimming pool. The arts are emphasised through music and art spaces, with performing arts playing a key role in creativity.
