Facilities Overview

The school has two large campuses, Old and New, with extensive greenery and playgrounds. The New Campus is El Narges Buildings Service Center, New Cairo City, Cairo; the Old Campus is El Tagamoe EL-Khames, South Police Academy, New Cairo City, Cairo. Nutrition includes two outdoor cafeterias and one air-conditioned cafeteria serving over 4,000 students and staff. ICT labs include four computer labs with 30 PCs each; four science labs with gas and water connections and prep rooms. Athletics facilities include two swimming pools, an indoor gym, outdoor courts for volleyball, basketball, football and tennis, indoor squash courts with a 200-seat auditorium, and natural and artificial grass fields.

Four science labs have benches and gas and water connections with adjacent prep rooms. The library provides books in multiple languages, reference materials, and multimedia resources.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Athletics facilities support extracurricular activities including swimming, court sports, football, tennis, and squash, with venues and an indoor gym on two campuses.

Modern School of Egypt 2000 is a private international day school offering both American and British divisions, with American accreditation. The school serves students from age 3 to 18 and follows the Ministry of Education curriculum in Arabic, Religion, Math, Science and Social Studies, with English O-Level as the core English track. The second language begins in Primary 2 and the third in Primary 3; in the English School the second language options are French or German, and in the French School the second language is English with German as the third. The English High Level curriculum is used, with materials selected by the English and French departments. The school operates on campuses in New Cairo, Old Campus and New Campus, with four computer labs, four science labs, UNESCO ICDL lab, a multilingual library, two swimming pools, indoor gym, outdoor courts, squash courts and a 200-seat auditorium. Extra programs include a Model United Nations and a branch at the 57357 Children's Cancer Hospital.
