Modern School of Egypt 2000 is a private international day school offering both American and British divisions, with American accreditation. The school serves students from age 3 to 18 and follows the Ministry of Education curriculum in Arabic, Religion, Math, Science and Social Studies, with English O-Level as the core English track. The second language begins in Primary 2 and the third in Primary 3; in the English School the second language options are French or German, and in the French School the second language is English with German as the third. The English High Level curriculum is used, with materials selected by the English and French departments. The school operates on campuses in New Cairo, Old Campus and New Campus, with four computer labs, four science labs, UNESCO ICDL lab, a multilingual library, two swimming pools, indoor gym, outdoor courts, squash courts and a 200-seat auditorium. Extra programs include a Model United Nations and a branch at the 57357 Children's Cancer Hospital.
