Uniforms must be worn at all times in school, on trips and during exams unless informed otherwise by school management. Students should be neat and presentable with appropriate hair grooming and personal hygiene; those not meeting uniform standards may face consequences, including being sent home.
The school provides catering with designated meal times and breaks. Parents sending lunches must ensure meals are healthy; snacks such as fizzy drinks, crisps, chocolates or candy are not allowed; a bottle of water must be provided daily.
Ownership and governance: The owning company is El Rooya Group, which appoints the General Manager and Chairman who then elect the Senior Management team (School Director, School Deputy and Department heads) and these form the Board. Board members undergo governance training and safeguarding training in accordance with regulatory requirements. The School Head and IB coordinators receive ongoing IB training. New Vision International School in Cairo, Egypt, is an IB World School offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), alongside the American curriculum. Established in 2012, it serves students from age 2 to 18. The school is accredited as an IB World School and as an American-curriculum institution, and is a member of the American Schools of the Middle East. It has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma since 2019, and is inspected by the International Baccalaureate Organization and Cognia.
