Admissions

Admissions

Notion International School offers IB-accredited programs: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). Admissions are handled by an Admissions Committee, and parents receive a decision within about one week of finalization. PYP admissions require online application, a signed consent form, entrance exams in English, Math, and Arabic (pass mark 70% per subject), an academic recommendation, a behavioral letter, and an interview with the Head of Program. For MYP admissions, online application is followed by entrance exams in Mathematics, Arabic, and English; submission of prior reports; and an interview with the MYP coordinator/Head of Secondary. DP admissions require online application, consent, entrance exams in English, Math, and Arabic; submission of prior reports; an interview with the DP coordinator/Head of Secondary; and meeting minimum requirements for Higher Level subjects. The school provides a single set of terms of payment for all programmes: after acceptance, 2 business days to confirm the offer and 5 business days to secure the place, with four installments paid in Egyptian pounds. Required documents include 10 photos, birth certificate, parents' IDs, vaccination certificate, health card, and the last two academic years' reports for transferring students. Apply online via the school's admissions portal.

Scholarships

Notion International School offers scholarships for select grades within the Middle Years Programme (MYP 2–5) and the Diploma Programme (DP1–DP2). The scholarship process includes an online application, submission of the previous year's academic report and a signed behavior report, entrance exams, and an admissions interview, with further documents as needed. Scholarship discounts are calculated based on evaluation results, with 30%, 50%, or 70% discounts corresponding to different achievement levels. Required supporting documents include behavior and academic reports and any extra achievements. The policy requires maintaining high academic standards to retain the discount, with annual re-evaluation. Excluded from discount are resources, activities, IB exam fees for DP (in year 12), bus, uniform, and other fees. For questions, contact the Admissions Office.

Waitlist

Deadline information indicates that applicants submitting documents after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list. The 2024/2025 deadline was January 30, 2024.
