The school is a German-language school. Language support is offered in German and Arabic. German language instruction begins in kindergarten with the aim that German becomes the language of everyday school life. In the IB program, languages include German, Arabic and English, and History and Biology are taught in German, with other subjects taught in English or German depending on the course group.
The school is an IB World School. In grades 11 and 12, students participate in preparatory IB instruction and learn a Language A (Arabic or German) and a Language B (English), History and one of the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics), Mathematics and Art or a similar combination, according to the student's needs and interests. In the bilingual language program, History and Biology are taught in German.

Rahn Schulen Kairo is a German-language school in Cairo, 100 percent German-owned, serving ages 1 to 18. The campus includes kindergarten, Grundschule and Sekundarstufe, with an IB World School pathway since 2017/18 and a cooperation with Gymnasium im Stift Neuzelle for Abitur.
