English and French are taught in Rahn Schulen Cairo. English is taught from grade 1 and French from grade 6. Most subjects are taught in German, while the Arabic language, Arabic History and Religion are taught in Arabic. The school offers the DELF language certificate in 10th grade.
Rahn Schulen Kairo is a German-language school in Cairo, 100 percent German-owned, serving ages 1 to 18. The campus includes kindergarten, Grundschule and Sekundarstufe, with an IB World School pathway since 2017/18 and a cooperation with Gymnasium im Stift Neuzelle for Abitur. All subjects are taught in German according to the Berlin-Brandenburg framework, while Arabic language support helps bilingual development. The school draws on German educational traditions, with teachers from Germany and other European countries alongside Egyptian staff, and emphasizes preparing students for life after school.
