The school is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of every student, offering high levels of personal care and attention. Teachers and staff focus on each student's strengths, weaknesses, and needs to help them participate and benefit from the learning environment. An array of services supports the academic, emotional, and physical wellbeing of students. The SABIS Student Life Organization (SLO) contributes to students' social-emotional development.
Learning support is an essential part of the SABIS Educational System at ISC-6 October. Student progress is monitored, and when learning gaps form, students work with teachers and school administrators to fill gaps through teacher-led study groups and other supports. The SABIS Student Life Organization provides peer tutoring, power study sessions, academic competitions, and on-demand tutoring videos.
Advisory Classes provide a safe space to discuss contemporary themes important to students' lives; topics include peer pressure, organizational skills, personal hygiene, health and exercise, conflict resolution, problem-solving skills, time management, and exam preparation techniques. As students progress, topics expand to health and wellbeing, IT safety, cultural understanding, and interview skills, as well as career and university counseling. ISC-6 October has a medical doctor and a nurse to support health needs and emergencies.
The International School of Choueifat – City of 6 October is an English‑medium day school founded in 2003 and a SABIS network member. It serves students aged 3–18 and offers a blended curriculum that integrates American and British frameworks, including Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS and A Levels, and Advanced Placement. The curriculum develops fluency in English, Arabic, and French, with emphasis on English, mathematics, and science in the secondary years. The SABIS Educational System provides a mastery‑based approach with frequent assessments and a 360‑degree view of progress for students, teachers, and parents, supported by the SABIS Student Life Organization. The campus features sports facilities, a semi‑Olympic pool, a sports hall, and tennis/basketball courts. KG has a building, an indoor pool, and a playground. KG–12 classrooms have Interactive Whiteboards; the ITL Hall houses 167 computers for assessments; a two-level library serves English, Arabic, and French resources with art and music spaces.
