Uppingham Cairo is an international school for ages 3–18 located at New Giza, Cairo, as part of Uppingham School in the UK. The school offers Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A Levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The Senior School curriculum is broad and adaptable; Lower School (Years 7–9) covers Maths, English, Sciences, Latin, Computer Science, History, Geography, Religion, two Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Drama & Theatre Studies, Art, Design & Technology, Textiles and Sport. Upper School (Years 10–11) continues with IGCSE options alongside core subjects; Sixth Form offers A Levels, the Extended Project Qualification, and a Sixth Form Parallel Curriculum. Facilities include the Upp Hub with extension hours for juniors (3–7pm) and seniors (to 9:30pm), on-site Football and Tennis Academies, and Rafa Nadal Tennis Program partnership. Applications are open for entry in September 2026 and September 2027. After submitting the form, applicants proceed to the next steps of the admissions process.
The school awards scholarships to children of exceptional talent joining in Year 6, Year 7, Year 8, or Year 9. Scholarships may recognise high attainment and promise or exceptional specialist aptitude, and are assessed through tests, examinations, or interviews. Scholarship awards do not ordinarily exceed 25% of the fees, and a candidate may hold only one scholarship at a time. All candidates must pass the standard academic entrance assessment and have been offered a place before entering the scholarship process; scholarships in more than two disciplines are not permitted. Junior School Scholarships include Academic scholarships for Year 6 and Junior Sports Scholarships for selected sports in Years 4–6 and for Rhythmic Gymnastics in Years 1–3. Senior School Scholarships cover Academic, Music, Art, Sport, Textiles (Fashion Design), Design & Technology, and Drama, with the Thring Award (All Rounder) for Year 9; Sixth Form scholarships will be introduced in due course.
