How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Admission is open for students from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 12. STEP 1: Our school has an open door policy. To learn more about Windrose Academy, you are welcome to visit us or book a tour (09:00, 11:00 and 13:00, Sunday to Wednesday). Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes. STEP 2: Start the application process by providing us with all the needed information about the applicant and the family. You can do that online using the following link. To complete your application, submit the following documents to the Registrar's office: Birth certificate; 6 photos; Previous reports; Copy of parent's ID; Transfer documents. STEP 3: After completing steps 1 and 2, you will be contacted by the Registrar's office to schedule an assessment with a member of our academic team. The assessment is conducted by the academic team. STEP 4: The Registrar's office will inform you of the outcome of the assessment via email. In the event that your child is accepted: An offer letter and terms and conditions of enrolment will be sent to you. Please print, sign and return the attached documents to the Registrar's Office. Please pay the required amount within 7 working days (the first instalment is required along with the requested documents to complete the registration process. Only then will a place be booked for your child). Admission can be granted throughout the year and is subject to the availability of places and the successful completion of the assessment. In the event that your child is not accepted you will receive an email informing you of the decision. Windrose Academy Cairo is an international British curriculum school for ages 3 to 17 that blends the Cambridge International Examinations framework with Egyptian Ministry of Education requirements. The school teaches the Early Years Foundation Stage and five English National Curriculum Key Stages, progressing through Key Stages 1 to 5, including O-Levels, Cambridge AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels. Students prepare for Cambridge Progression Tests and Checkpoints, while Arabic language, social and religious studies are fulfilled for local requirements. The Ring Road – Ain Sukhna Exit campus in Katameya features spacious play areas, three multipurpose courts and a football field, plus classrooms with interactive smart boards, laptops and tablets connected by high-speed internet. The library and computing facilities support digital learning. Extracurriculars, offered by teachers and external experts with online sign-up, include KS1 drama and cultural days such as French & German Day and International Day, plus leadership and community service opportunities.
