The school has Nursery (1.5-3 years), Pre-school (3-6 years), Primary (6-12 years), and Middle School (13-15 years). There are 84 students in the basic school and 32 in the kindergarten.
Tartu International School is a small, co-educational day school. There are no boarding facilities. It is an IB World School.
A special education specialist is available to support students with additional learning needs.
The school day starts at 9:00 AM. Students have outdoor breaks and additional physical education lessons. Afternoon care is available for Grades 1-3.

PYP3-PYP4 (3-4 years): EUR 5,565 per year
Preschool (5-6 years): EUR 5,670 per year
Grades 1-3: EUR 7,005 per year
Grades 4-6: EUR 7,225 per year
Grades 7-9: EUR 7,330 per year
Students must be registered as local municipality residents to qualify for private rates.

Preschool 1 (1.5-4 years): EUR 10,500 per year
Preschool 2 (5-6 years): EUR 11,025 per year
Grades 1-3: EUR 11,130 per year
Grades 4-9: EUR 11,235 per year

EUR 800 (one-time, corporate students only)
Payment
Private fees paid in 10 monthly installments. First installment is 20% of the annual fee, due two weeks after contract signing.
Additional
School lunch is an additional cost. A tuition fee discount program is available; applications reviewed individually by the Management Board. Tax refund is available for private fees in Estonia.

It delivers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) with the Middle Years Programme in preparation. Instruction is in English, with Estonian taught from Grade 1. The school occupies newly renovated premises, provides balanced healthy school lunches, and participates in the Eco-Schools Programme, Free of Bullying Programme, Healthy Schools Network, and Schools in Motion Network. After-school clubs and afternoon care for Grades 1-3 are available. Private tuition for 2026/27 starts from EUR 5,355 per year.
