Tartu International School is a small, student-centered IB World School in the historic town center of Tartu, Estonia, founded in 2013. The school serves 116 students from 24 nationalities aged 18 months to 15 years, with a maximum class size of 12 and a 1:5 teacher-to-student ratio. It delivers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) with the Middle Years Programme in preparation. Instruction is in English, with Estonian taught from Grade 1. The school occupies newly renovated premises, provides balanced healthy school lunches, and participates in the Eco-Schools Programme, Free of Bullying Programme, Healthy Schools Network, and Schools in Motion Network. After-school clubs and afternoon care for Grades 1-3 are available. Private tuition for 2026/27 starts from EUR 5,355 per year.
