Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Complete the pre-enrollment form. The form is available online at preinscriptions.ecoledirecte.com. If you are arriving from abroad and are unsure of the appropriate level, contact Admissions for guidance. The Admissions team will follow up with you to arrange a meeting by phone or video call, depending on the admission period.
2. Include your child's school reports: the first trimester of the current year (if received) and the full previous year. For CP, include the learning progress record if available. The information provided helps determine the appropriate entry level and next steps in the admissions process.
3. Inform us of any assessments or accommodations done for your child (speech therapy or neuropsychological assessments; PPRE, PAP, PAI). Learn more about the accommodations available at EBiHS. Provide any relevant documents or notes so the school can review them as part of the admissions process.
4. The Admissions office will follow up with you to arrange a meeting (phone or video call) based on the current admission period. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the school and the program.
5. For admission starting in CP, and based on available places, your child must take an entrance assessment with the Educational Director. The assessment evaluates readiness and placement within the school's program. Passing the assessment is required to finalize admission.
6. You will receive an answer after the entrance assessment is completed. The response will indicate whether admission is approved and any next steps. If additional steps are required, you will be informed with clear instructions.
7. If the answer is positive, you must confirm acceptance by signing the enrollment contract and paying the deposit by the dates communicated with the response. The deposit amount and payment deadlines will be provided at that time. Once the contract and deposit are received, your child's place will be secured.
8. You can also arrange a direct call or email to discuss your specific situation.
EBIHS is a private school run by a non-profit association in France for ages 3 to 16. It delivers a bilingual French–English education from early years through collège, with three years of English immersion beginning in kindergarten. Grande Section offers French four hours per week and English twenty hours. All collège subjects are taught in both languages, and a third language (Spanish or German) begins in sixth grade. The secondary program follows the French curriculum and prepares students for the Diplôme National du Brevet, while also being a Cambridge school offering B1 and B2 English certificates and the IGCSE. The curriculum includes field trips, stays abroad, and a Learning Center with tailored support. The school operates across campuses. The site spans 1.7 hectares with 5200 square meters of buildings, accommodating 650 students in 32 classes. A future Sunflowers campus will add facilities such as a motor skills room, science lab, library, dining hall, and a bus service.
