Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

The bilingual program begins with total immersion in English in kindergarten. The curriculum develops languages and literature, mathematics, science, history, geography and sport through CE1, CE2, CM1, CM2 and into collège. Students can pursue secondary education in French or English, or benefit from an international curriculum with easy learning of new languages. From cycle 3 onwards, students prepare for Cambridge language certifications, with CM2 at A2, 5e at B1, 3e at B2, and Classe de 2nd (courses offered at collège, extracurricular) at C1.

Arts and Creative

Development of personality and self-confidence occurs through activities and clubs such as sports, theater, art and music. These activities form part of the college's strengths, supporting students' creative growth beyond the classroom. Participation in arts and performances helps students express themselves and work collaboratively with peers.

Cultural and Language

Support courses in English or French complete the immersion program. Reading readiness is built from early on, and students continue to deepen language skills across subjects. The school emphasizes openness to the world, with regular field trips and trips abroad to explore cultures.

Social and Hobbies

Students have access to a wide range of sports and cultural activities outside of school hours. The extracurricular program runs after school on premises from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, with some activities offered on Wednesdays. Facilitators are teachers from the school or external partners, providing a bilingual and engaging after‑school experience.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The Extracurricular program offers sports and cultural activities outside of school hours, supporting physical activity and social development. Activities run after school on weekdays and on Wednesdays on the school premises, with supervision by qualified staff. The program emphasizes a bilingual environment and opportunities to explore interests in a social setting.

EBIHS is a private school run by a non-profit association in France for ages 3 to 16. It delivers a bilingual French–English education from early years through collège, with three years of English immersion beginning in kindergarten. Grande Section offers French four hours per week and English twenty hours. All collège subjects are taught in both languages, and a third language (Spanish or German) begins in sixth grade. The secondary program follows the French curriculum and prepares students for the Diplôme National du Brevet, while also being a Cambridge school offering B1 and B2 English certificates and the IGCSE. The curriculum includes field trips, stays abroad, and a Learning Center with tailored support. The school operates across campuses. The site spans 1.7 hectares with 5200 square meters of buildings, accommodating 650 students in 32 classes. A future Sunflowers campus will add facilities such as a motor skills room, science lab, library, dining hall, and a bus service.
