The school follows the English National Curriculum. English is the language of instruction for the majority of subjects, and all other IGCSE subjects continue to be taught in English. The French Bilingual Pathway provides additional French Language & Literature and Humanities taught in French. It preserves access to IGCSE, A Levels and universities worldwide, enabling study in France or internationally.
FBP is a new bilingual path offered within the Secondary School. In Years 7 to 9, it offers increased hours in French Language & Literature, complemented by Humanities taught in French. This represents about 30% of total learning time (12 hours over two weeks). The objectives are to consolidate and enrich students' academic level in French, maintain a high level of English, and preserve access to IGCSE, A Levels and universities worldwide.
French Bilingual Pathway provides a formal bilingual track within the school. French Language & Literature and Humanities are taught in French as part of the pathway. All other IGCSE subjects continue to be taught in English. Entry requires minimum French level of B1, and students may transfer from the French Bilingual Pathway to the British International Pathway at any point during the year.
Mougins British International School is a British international school in Mougins, near Nice, offering the English National Curriculum from Early Years through Key Stage 5. The programme includes EYFS, Key Stages 1–5, IGCSE at the end of Key Stage 4, and A-level and/or BTEC options in the Sixth Form. The school serves ages 3 to 18 and follows an English-language curriculum for international learners. The campus sits amid woodland and gardens, with outdoor learning on site. Facilities include a library of 11,000 volumes with a dedicated librarian, a dedicated drama and music facility with an indoor theatre, and sports spaces including a full-sized synthetic pitch and gym. A French Bilingual Pathway is offered, alongside EAL and learning-support provisions. Extra-curriculars feature a LAMDA-certified drama centre, choirs and an orchestra, Learnissimo language lessons, and Globeducate events. Pastoral care is supported by a Health and Wellbeing Centre and strong community life through PTA.
