The Mouratoglou International School was born from Patrick Mouratoglou's experience with the rigidity of a standardized education system, and it was created to adapt the system to the child. It is located in Sophia Antipolis, near Nice, and offers two sections (French and American) with a Dual Diploma. The school operates on a 12-hectare campus that is ultra-secure and purpose-built, fostering a multicultural environment with more than 45 nationalities. The Mouratoglou Methodology emphasizes listening, adaptation, demanding standards, proving results, and ongoing progress. Since 2016, Mouratoglou International School has graduated 300+ students, with high pass rates (98% baccalaureate, 100% DNB, 100% High School Diploma) and strong university placements (91% of students obtain scholarships), with around 35 students placed each year.
MIS creates a bilingual campus community where two sections share facilities and live in a culturally immersive environment with over 45 nationalities. Daily cultural immersion and cross-section collaboration expose students to English language and the best of both French and American traditions, including graduation celebrations and the Yearbook. Campus life ends formal classes at 3:30 p.m., with options for arts, tech, and multisport activities, plus supervised study for those who want extra reinforcement. The campus places a strong emphasis on well-being and safety, with a private, guarded site and on-site health services to support academic and personal development.
Mouratoglou International School (MIS) in Biot, Sophia Antipolis, near Nice, offers two curricula within a bilingual campus. The French Section follows the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale for grades 6–12, leading to the Diplôme National du Brevet and the Baccalauréat général, with Cambridge English and PIX certifications. The American Section provides 100% English-tuition for grades 5–12, follows the American curriculum with AP courses, and prepares students for the High School Diploma, SAT, TOEFL, and AP exams. A distinctive Dual Diploma combines the French Baccalauréat with the American High School Diploma. Classes are capped at 15 students, and MIS operates as an official SAT and AP exam center. The 12-hectare campus in Biot offers secure, surroundings with on-site medical, psychological, and nursing care, plus sports and academic facilities.
