English is the language of instruction. Georgian A and B are offered, with English as an Additional Language (EAL) support. From Grade 5, students begin learning additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Russian.
European School in Tbilisi, Georgia, offers a continuum of International Baccalaureate programmes alongside national Georgian education elements. The school provides the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Grades 1–5, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6–9, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11–12, plus the Career-related Programme (CP) for Grades 11–12. The Georgian Programme follows the national curriculum with modern teaching methods. The European Kindergarten serves ages 3–5 in Georgian and English sections. The campus comprises Building A, B and C and the Kindergarten, with libraries, laboratories, dining, sports facilities, and a FabLab supporting STEAM and digital learning. The school educates more than 1,800 students from 36 nationalities. In 2022 it became the first CIS-accredited school in Georgia and is an IB World School authorized for CP, DP, MYP, and PYP. A broad extracurricular program includes student leadership, clubs in robotics, languages, arts, and community service, along with university and career counseling.
