Georgian, English, Russian, German, French and Spanish are taught. The language of instruction is Georgian for PYP (and IBMYP 1–3 in the Georgian section), while English is the instruction language in IBMYP 4–5 and the Diploma Programme. English as a Foreign Language is provided, and mother-tongue support plus learning-support services and language clubs are available.
Georgian is the language of instruction in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Units of Inquiry are produced bilingually in Georgian and English. English is taught as a second language from the first grade, and is the instruction language in IBMYP Years 4–5 and the Diploma Programme, while the Georgian section uses Georgian as the language of instruction for IBMYP 1–3. The school offers six languages across grades: Georgian, English, Russian, German, French and Spanish, and provides mother tongue support and English as a Foreign Language.
Newton Free School offers the International Baccalaureate continuum: Preschool and Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3 to 11, Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11 to 16, and Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16 to 18. It is an authorized IB World School with two campuses: Newton Free School in Tbilisi and Saguramo. The Georgian IB Diploma is recognized as equivalent to full general education, enabling progression to higher education. The school provides IB facilities for science labs, an indoor gym, an open sports field, a swimming pool, and other spaces to support learning. Students participate in broad extracurriculars through clubs in Natural Sciences, Electronics, Model UN, Drama, and language and culture activities. Sports clubs include football, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. The school partners with academies such as Locomotive Football Academy, Dinamo Swimming and Water Polo Academy, and Orbi Basketball Academy to enhance sport opportunities.
