The school opened in September 1995 as a private non-profit institution and offers English-language education for students from Pre-K (age 2) through Grade 12 (age 18). Its educational philosophy is mastery learning with a personalized approach to instruction. The primary purpose is to meet the needs of children of foreign and local residents in Tbilisi who require quality education. The school fosters social skills and values through Success Orientations that emphasize traits such as kindness, politeness, concern for others, personal responsibility and group interaction. The school also provides knowledge of and appreciation for Georgia's country and culture.
PSG is a parent-selected support group involved in activities and projects with a view toward improving the school. All QSIT parents are encouraged to become involved through this program. The PSG has an executive committee with roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Room Parent Coordinator.
QSI International School of Tbilisi offers English-language education from Pre-K (age 2) through Grade 12 (age 18) in Georgia.
