Workshops are an integral part of the educational concept. Students sign up for a 90-minute workshop of their choice; Grade 7 & 8 choose two workshops per week, while Grade 9 & 10 choose one. After the first semester, a different selection is offered so students can explore new subjects. Academic Workshops include Chinese, Journalism, Coding, Book Club, Eco Club and World Politics.
Artistic Workshops include Photography, Band, Film Making, Painting, and Medienkompetenz/Typewriting/WordPress. These sessions provide hands-on opportunities to explore creative media and digital literacy. They support developing creative skills beyond the standard curriculum.
Academic Workshops include Chinese, Journalism, Coding, Book Club, Eco Club and World Politics. Cultural experiences are supported through Book Week, STEAM Week and other traditions. Open House is held in February for families outside of school. Book Week is a week-long celebration of books and reading, with a read-a-thon, a book sale and a bake sale; proceeds from the read-a-thon go to the library.

After-school Workshops are offered after 4pm, with options such as hip-hop, hockey, karate, or a craft project. In-Class Hort (ICH) is a platform for discussing class issues and social education, with the Erzieher:in preparing activities for the class.
Since 2012, the school has held an annual Charity Run. Donations support charities chosen by the students. In 2023, 1,800 Euros were donated to Growing Tree Liberia.
Sport Workshops include Bouldering, Iceskating, Basketball, Yoga and Dancing. Outside facilities include a garden with a basketball court and table tennis. Hort rooms include Art and Music rooms, Library, Dance room, Band room, Pottery workshop, Wood workshop, Movement room and more.
Berlin Bilingual School provides a structured, two-country education for students aged 6 to 18. The school combines the Berlin State Curriculum with elements of a British framework and Cambridge IGCSE, supporting language development. The Primary School follows the Berliner Rahmenlehrplan, with 90-minute teaching blocks and 45-minute lessons. From Grade 3 onward, classes include an Erzieher:in in core subjects, and Grade 5 offers French or Spanish; English and German are taught at native level. The programme prepares students for bilingual qualifications in Secondary School, with more than half the staff native speakers and at least C1 proficiency in the other language. Primary classes are capped at 25 pupils. The campus for the Primary is in Friedrichshain, the Secondary in Pankow, connected by accessible transport links. Facilities include chemistry, music and art rooms, a library, a garden, and social work spaces; theatre, sport halls, and venues are used for performances and PE.
