The Secondary School is situated in a tranquil and green location in Pankow and is easily reached by bus, tram and subway. Facilities within the school include a Chemistry Lab, Music Room, Art Room, Library, Garden (includes an upper deck, a basketball court and table tennis). Cafeteria, Locker Room and Social Worker's Office are on site. Outside facilities used by the school include Alte Feuerwache for theatre performances, Buschallee Sporthalle & Kissingen Stadion for physical education, and a Bouldering hall at Berta Block.

An integrated Workshops programme offers Sport Workshops (Bouldering, Iceskating, Chess, Basketball, Skateboarding, Rugby, Floor hockey, Yoga, Dancing), Academic Workshops (Chinese, Journalism, Coding, Book Club, Eco Club, World Politics), and Artistic Workshops (Photography, Band, Film Making, Painting, Medienkompetenz/Typewriting/WordPress). BBS Traditions & Events include Open House, Winter Concert, Book Week, STEAM Week, Charity Run, Music Week, Sports Day, and the Summer Fair. The Summer Fair is organised by parents and takes place in the garden of the primary school campus. Book Week is a week-long celebration of books and reading with a read-a-thon and a book sale. STEAM Week features guest speakers and related activities.
Berlin Bilingual School provides a structured, two-country education for students aged 6 to 18. The school combines the Berlin State Curriculum with elements of a British framework and Cambridge IGCSE, supporting language development. The Primary School follows the Berliner Rahmenlehrplan, with 90-minute teaching blocks and 45-minute lessons. From Grade 3 onward, classes include an Erzieher:in in core subjects, and Grade 5 offers French or Spanish; English and German are taught at native level. The programme prepares students for bilingual qualifications in Secondary School, with more than half the staff native speakers and at least C1 proficiency in the other language. Primary classes are capped at 25 pupils. The campus for the Primary is in Friedrichshain, the Secondary in Pankow, connected by accessible transport links. Facilities include chemistry, music and art rooms, a library, a garden, and social work spaces; theatre, sport halls, and venues are used for performances and PE.
