Lessons begin at 08:30 and end at 15:30 for Primary and Secondary; on Wednesdays, Primary ends at 12:00 and Secondary at 13:00; morning care starts at 08:00; after-school care runs until 17:00; after-school activities run until 17:00.
Application & one‑off fees
- Registration fee (one‑time, non‑refundable): EUR 500.
- School Development Fee (one‑time, non‑refundable): EUR 2,200.
Tuition fees by year group (annual and per quarter)
- Primary Section (Early Years – Year 6): EUR 14,000 per year; equivalent to EUR 3,500 per quarter.
- Middle School Years 7–8: EUR 14,800 per year; equivalent to EUR 3,700 per quarter.
- Middle School Years 9–10: EUR 15,600 per year; equivalent to EUR 3,900 per quarter.
- IB Diploma Years (DP1 and DP2): EUR 16,700 per year; equivalent to EUR 4,175 per quarter.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Academic year period: 1 August to 31 July. Quarterly payment due dates are: 15 August, 1 November, 1 February and 1 May.
- Payment frequency options: annual (single payment) or quarterly. An annual single payment received by 15 August attracts a 2% discount; if the annual payment is not received by 15 August, payment will revert automatically to quarterly and the 2% discount will be revoked.
- Changes to the mode of payment are only permitted at the start of a new academic year; other mid‑year changes incur an administrative charge of EUR 20.
- Late enrolment (after 1 August): the tuition fee is due for the whole school quarter. The end dates for quarters are: 31 October, 31 January, 30 April and 31 July.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not provided; ISN operates as an all‑day day school with supervised morning care and after‑school care. After‑school activities are fee‑based and require separate registration.
Other costs and fee‑based items
- The tuition fee does not cover the cost of textbooks and external examinations; these are charged separately.
- Costs incurred by third parties are charged separately (examples include: school lunch, after‑school activities, excursions and class trips, sports uniform, specialist exam fees and any optional services).
- Morning care and general after‑school supervision are provided; the organised After School Activities Programme is fee‑based and requires separate registration.
Refunds, cancellations and termination
- The Registration Fee (EUR 500) and the School Development Fee (EUR 2,200) are non‑refundable.
- If an application is cancelled after 1 July, the tuition fee for one month's instruction will be charged.
- In case of extraordinary termination by the school, tuition is payable up to the date of termination. Ordinary termination follows the contract notice provisions; even with ordinary termination the school fees for the current school year remain payable in full.

- Sibling discount: school fees for siblings are reduced by 10% (applies to tuition fee only).

International School of Neustadt (ISN) is a private international, English-language day school for ages 4 to 18 located in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Germany.
