ISW is housed in a renovated former nunnery dating from 1852. Lunch is taken in the former Chapel. Art is taught in the former kitchens. Outdoor lessons take place in the formal sister's garden. Students have access to iPads and laptops; interactive whiteboards and overhead projectors are used in every classroom. The brand-new chemistry lab is designed to the highest international standards.
Cambridge Primary Programme for students aged 4–12. Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme for students aged 12–14. Cambridge Upper Secondary Programme (IGCSE) for students aged 14–16. Cambridge Advanced Programme (Cambridge International AS & A Levels) for students aged 16–18. ISW is an accredited Cambridge examination center offering the full range of Cambridge examinations. English is the language of instruction with daily German classes.
Before- and Afterschool Programmes run from 07:00 until 08:30 and 15:45 until 17:00, including breakfast club, music, drama, art and sports. There is an After School Activities program offering a range of activities. The Duke of Edinburgh Programme is part of ISW's provision. Weekly careers sessions are held. A Personal Development Day is held on Wednesdays. ISW hosts an annual sports day.
International School Westpfalz (ISW) is a private, coeducational English-language day school in Landstuhl, Germany, serving ages 4 to 18.
