Josef-Schwarz-Schule is a German-English bilingual school in Germany for ages 5 to 18. The curriculum combines a bespoke German programme with Cambridge Primary, with lessons delivered in German and English and a strong emphasis on STEM. From reception through Abitur, the school uses a bilingual all-day programme where German and English appear in class, supported by project-based learning, critical thinking and creative problem solving, and a reflective use of digital media. There are two campuses, Erlenbach and Heilbronn, offering facilities, small classes and individualized support. The Erlenbach site features purpose-built science laboratories, maker spaces and a large sports hall, while Heilbronn provides a state-of-the-art building with advanced digital and collaborative learning spaces and a dedicated IT team. Extracurriculars include robotics in the LEGO Education Lab and the Duke of Edinburgh International Award; the school also participates in IN FORM and the Schule ohne Rassismus – Schule mit Courage network worldwide.
