The Jules Verne Campus is a modern, state-approved campus in Munich offering the Bavarian curriculum with additional English instruction and immersion across age groups. In the Elementary School, two learning guides per group (one German-speaking and one English-speaking) support bilingual learning, with mixed-age learning groups to encourage collaboration. The designed environment includes spaces named after Jules Verne books, such as Core, Sea, Island, Tree, Air and Moon, plus a tree house library, an art studio, and learning studios, and features the Oasis dining hall. Indoor spaces include learning studios and Air and Moon lounges, and the outdoor area has a football field, a climbing frame, and a bouldering wall; a Sports Coordinator guides movement into lessons. After-school Hort care runs from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm with course programs and extras such as créAktiva+ or learning studio+.
Sport and movement are integrated into daily learning. Spacious learning studios and sports areas include equipment for movement such as slackline and a trampoline, enabling a range of physical activities and motor development. The campus supports climbing and other active spaces, and a Sports Coordinator helps incorporate movement elements into the curriculum.
The learning model centers on autonomous learning in the learning studio, with two learning guides per group (German- and English-speaking). Bilingual education is conducted by subject immersion, with English instruction across selected subjects and French introduced as a second foreign language from grade 6. Jules Verne offers extra subjects such as Curiosology and créAktiva, and applies Future Skills and Coaching to develop independent learning, problem-solving and social-emotional competencies. The school follows the Bavarian curriculum, and the final Abitur at Jules Verne Grammar School is equivalent to the public Gymnasium Abitur.
Curiosology provides two hours of weekly curiosity-driven learning, fostering creativity and exploration. CréAktiva offers elective courses such as theater, dance, music and science, integrated into the timetable; and after-school Hort care continues with course programs and additional activities such as créAktiva+ or learning studio+.
