- Admissions fee (Primary & Secondary): EUR 2.5 times the monthly Phorms tuition fee, payable when the enrolment contract is submitted.
- Reduced-fee administration fee (families eligible for reduced tuition): one monthly tuition fee, payable when the enrolment contract is submitted.
- Kindergarten (PhorMinis) one-off admission charge on entry to preschool: 1% of the family's gross income from two years prior; a parental fee reduction of EUR 250 applies on transition to primary school.

- Kindergarten (PhorMinis) fees and parental contributions
- Parental contribution model: kindergarten parental contributions are income-related and are combined with a municipal daycare voucher (Kita-Gutschein) to determine the family's monthly cost. A parental contribution calculator is used to determine the exact monthly amount.
- Friends' Association monthly contribution (examples by income band):
- under EUR 20,000: EUR 135 per month;
- EUR 50,000 or more: EUR 212 per month;
- EUR 75,000 or more: EUR 246 per month;
- EUR 100,000 or more: EUR 275 per month;
- more than EUR 130,000: EUR 349 per month.
These figures are part of the parental contribution structure; the membership fee before preschool entry is stated at EUR 126 per month. A preschool entry one-off admission charge of 1% of family income also applies.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is charged as an annual amount and split into 12 monthly instalments. The first monthly instalment is due at the start of the school year, on 1 August. Admissions/administration fees are due when the enrolment contract is submitted.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not provided at Phorms Campus Berlin Mitte; boarding fees are not applicable. Daytime and all-day care arrangements are offered instead.
Other costs and charges
- Catering: Primary School children are entitled to a free lunch arranged via the campus catering company; Phorms charges an additional food fee of EUR 33 per month. Gymnasium (secondary) lunch costs for warm meals are payable to the catering company directly.
- Day-care voucher contributions for primary-school after‑school care: parental contributions set by the municipal day-care voucher scheme vary by income and care hours and are given as an example range between EUR 16 and EUR 194 per month.
- School supplies, obligatory school clothing (primary school tops and sportswear), class trips, exhibitions and voluntary afternoon activities are charged separately and are not included in the tuition instalments. Primary students are required to purchase items from the school clothing collection.
- Sibling discounts: second child - 25% reduction on tuition; third child - 50% reduction; fourth and subsequent children - 75% reduction. Loyalty discounts apply after 5 and 10 years of attendance.
Refund and cancellation information
- The School Fee Regulations and the Admissions & Costs information set out fees, instalment timing and admission charges. Specific refund, cancellation or termination rules are governed by the Phorms Berlin gGmbH General Terms and Conditions (AGB); those General Terms are referenced in the School Fee Regulations but detailed refund/cancellation clauses are not specified in the School Fee Regulations document itself.
Fee payment options
- The published School Fee Regulations and Admissions & Costs pages specify instalment timing and amounts but do not list specific accepted payment methods (for example: bank transfer, SEPA, direct debit or card). Payment method details are handled as part of the enrolment and invoicing process.
Phorms Bilingual School Berlin-Mitte provides a continuous educational journey for children from age two through to the German Abitur. Located in a converted historic brick factory, the school operates on a full-day schedule from 7:30 to 18:00, integrating academic lessons with afternoon enrichment. The curriculum follows the Berlin state framework but is delivered through a 50/50 English-German immersion model. In primary years, each class is supported by both a teacher and an educator to ensure a high care ratio. A signature feature of the campus is its "House of Little Scientists" certification, which emphasizes early scientific inquiry through hands-on experiments. From Year 5, students can enter a specialized bilingual science-focused secondary pathway, where subjects like Biology and Chemistry are taught primarily in English.
