- Parents also pay the parental contribution set by the local Day Care Voucher (Hortbescheid) for all‑day care; that parental contribution is additional to Phorms tuition and is calculated by the responsible district office according to statutory rules. Credit‑card use is typically limited to one‑off payments for certain activities in Phorms practice elsewhere. Specific permitted payment methods and any associated charges are defined in the school contract and billing communications.

Notes on documentation and proof

- Tuition levels are determined by gross annual family income (the combined positive income of both legal guardians) from the second‑last calendar year before the start of the school year and, except for the highest income band, supporting income documentation must be provided. Families with incomes up to €130,000 are generally required to provide proof; families paying at the highest income band are not required to submit proof.

The approach focuses on personal development through hands-on, collaborative activities and language-rich experiences. This environment aims to nurture resilience, empathy, and confidence within a bilingual setting.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Two educational specialists per class provide targeted, individual development support. Small-group targeted assistance helps children learn at their own pace, while inclusive projects and diverse teaching methods support a wide range of abilities. A tailored remedial programme addresses specific needs in German (DaZ) and English (ESL), with DaZ and ESL teachers collaborating with subject teachers and the support coordinator. The school coordinates language support with the broader classroom to ensure coherent progress. The overall structure supports inclusive education and differentiated learning pathways.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

German and English are taught as equal campus languages with immersion facilitated by native-speaking teachers. Instruction occurs in both languages, enabling holistic language learning and bilingual proficiency by the end of primary school. Additional language support is provided through DaZ (German as a Second Language) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programmes, staffed by dedicated teachers who collaborate with subject teachers. Multilingualism is a core focus, reflecting the school's bilingual model and intercultural emphasis.

Mental Wellbeing

SEAL and social-emotional learning are integrated into the curriculum, supporting emotional development alongside academic growth. Group and project work foster collaboration, empathy, and self-confidence, helping students navigate social dynamics. After-school care provides a stable, supervised environment with routines up to 18:00, contributing to students' wellbeing and security. The bilingual, intercultural setting nurtures tolerance, respect for others, and emotional resilience. The school aims to create a safe, supportive space where students can express themselves and grow emotionally.

Safeguarding

The school presents a safe and secure learning environment with guaranteed teaching and no cancelled lessons. A safe space to learn and grow is emphasized throughout the school's approach.
