Taunus International Montessori School (TIMS) is an international, English-speaking early years program in Oberursel, Germany. The school serves three groups of children aged 3 to 6 years and a toddler group for 18 months to 36 months. The day runs from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with early morning care from 8:00 am and after-school options most days from 3:00 to 4:00 pm; aftercare is available Mondays to Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and on Fridays from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. The curriculum follows the Montessori philosophy, using materials designed for independent use with built-in error control. Children progress at their own pace, developing concentration, coordination, and self-discipline. Each week includes German language sessions, along with music and gym. Afterschool activities cover soccer, tennis, taekwondo, English and German book clubs, science club, and home economics, allowing families to tailor schedules. The campus is a modern, spacious building in Oberursel with outdoor spaces and access to nature walks nearby.
